Wednesday skill 1 & 2: Greek and latin roots
Use the internet to determine if the prefix is Greek or Latin. You may also use the internet to find the definition of the given prefix and examples of words with that prefix.

There are 4 basic situations that require the use of a comma or commas.
1. Between items in a series
Example: We had pizza, salad, and chocolate chip cookies for dinner.
2. With conjunctions in a sentence
Example: I like to read, and I like to write
3. To set off an introductory element or a dependent clause
Example: Knowing he would be late, he ran to school as fast as he could.
4. To set off certain elements of a sentence
Example: The dog, looking up at his owner with his sad eyes, sat in the pile of
the shredded couch cushion.
